Join the Yale Digital Ethics Center for Academic Appetites, a monthly lunchtime seminar featuring scholars from Yale and other academic institutions. Speakers will share current work on the ethical, social, and governance dimensions of digital technology.

Sessions are held 12:00 to 1:30 p.m., at the Digital Ethics Center, 85 Trumbull St. Lunch is provided.

Open to Yale students, faculty, and postdoctoral researchers.

Luca Nannini

Luca Nannini is a Policy Fellow at the Yale Digital Ethics Center. He holds a Marie-Curie industrial Ph.D. in AI (cum laude) from the University of Santiago de Compostela (CiTIUS), with earlier training in cognitive semiotics (Aarhus) and humanities (Florence). He is a Standardisation Project Leader for CEN/CENELEC JTC 21, leading four parts of the prEN 18229 AI trustworthiness series, and an Italian AI-standards expert (UNINFO) to ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 42. His research bridges the philosophy of information, explainable AI, and AI governance, with a focus on operationalising Floridi’s concept of semantic capital as a measurable audit instrument.
