Cara Gillingham is a Postgraduate Associate at the Digital Ethics Center. She recently graduated from McGill University with a B.A. in Philosophy and Geography. During her undergrad, she conducted independent research on the spatial distribution of fitness activities based on social network data and wrote a thesis on public participation in the federal electoral redistribution process in Canada. These projects, along with courses in AI ethics during her final year at McGill, have informed her research interests in the field. She looks forward to further exploring it.
