Originally from California, Devin is a sophomore at Yale University majoring in Cognitive Science with a concentration in Legal Artificial Intelligence. He is particularly interested in the intersections of law, psychology, and technology, and how our understandings of the mind and the legal system shape our ethical development of technologies such as AI.
Devin currently works as a research assistant in the Affective Science and Culture Lab and as a STEM Tour Guide. He is also a Legal Researcher for the Yale Undergraduate Legal Aid Association, focusing on Special Education policies in Connecticut.
Outside of academics, Devin serves as Chief of Staff for the Yale College Council events team, a sophomore representative on the Branford College Council, a manager for the student record label 17o1, and a member of Y-Pop Up, a gourmet dining club.
